Cacao ceremonies are originated all the way back to Mayan and Aztec traditions in Central and South America. The spirit of Cacao was used for spiritual, medicinal and ceremonial purposes, inner awakening and creative guidance. The heart opening medicine can unlock euphoric states, release emotions and enabels you to connect to our higher self, our wisdom within, the loving energy in our body and will also silence the mind. Cacao has been used for centuries to heal the mental, physical and spiritual body.

The package contains 454 g of 100% ceremonial grade cacao, harvested and processed in Guatemala. The farm belongs to the Mayan wisdom keeper Nana Marina Cruz and her family. The cacao is 100% natural and harvested and processed ethically and with prayers.

Dosing and preparation:
For ceremonial use we recommend 30g per portion.
For shamanic journeys we recommend around 20g per portion.
For consumption outside of a ceremony, we recommend 8g – 10g per portion.

Chop the Cacao with a knife and place in an already heated saucepan. Gradually add approx. 150-250 ml (for one portion) of water while stirring constantly. Make sure that the Cacao doesn't burn and that it emerge well with the water.
It is best not to heat above 40 degrees, otherwise it will lose its raw quality!

The Cacao is traditionally prepared with water, cinnamon and chilli.
You can add honey or plant milk as you feel, to familiarize yourself with the taste at the beginning.
Prepare theCacao with your whole presence, you can connect with your intentions, say your prayers and sing to the medicine to connect with the spirit.
Before you take the Cacao, hold the mug in front of your heart with both hands, close your eyes, connect with your intentions and open yourself to the medicine in gratitude.
